Welp, here we go.

Just over five months ago we announced our intention to transition to a pure "direct-to-consumer" business model. Instead of stores and dealers, our pedals would be sold directly from our website and shipped right to you.

It was a big choice, and this video explains why we did it.

We stopped taking dealer orders on that day. The big thing standing in our way at the time was that we still had A LOT of previous dealer orders on the books, and we didn't feel comfortable making this change until our backlog was clean.

I am very happy to report today is that day. Our old dealer backlog is empty and we can now focus all of our efforts on serving YOU.

The only exception to this is Tonal Recall. This pedal is discontinued (so we won't be selling it) but we still have some dealer orders to fill over the next few months. I just mention that in case you have a Tonal Recall on order with a dealer and are wondering about that.

I have to admit, this is scary. It still feels right, it still feels good, but there's no turning back now. It feels like we’ve spent the last few months walking up to the edge, but now it's time to actually JUMP.

So here we go, we’re doing it.

One thing that is super exciting is that this is also kind of a relaunch of a product we did a limited run of about a year ago: exp, our expression roller. It has our new branding, and we took your feedback and made it so you could change the direction of the roller with toggle switches on the outside.

Here's a video that shows how that works:

Our big goal on this day was to have some stock of our in-production models. We mostly achieved that, but you'll notice for example Thermae has a 4 week lead time compared to MOOD which says "ships within 3 days." This is gonna be how it goes. Our lead times for individual products will constantly be in flux. Of course we hope to have everything in stock all the time but realistically that's probably not going to happen too often. The good news is that we (since we manufacture these things) have a really good idea of what lead times actually are for us so you can feel confident when you place an order that you will get your pedal within the time frame quoted.

Now you may be asking yourself, "What if I order something that's in stock at the same time with something that is not in stock?" In that case we will ship whatever we have in stock to you right away and ship the other thing that isn't in stock as soon as possible (unless you request they be shipped together).

Ok, that's it.

I’m excited and nervous and it has been a wild, wild few weeks. Every single person at the shop was helping with production to get ready in time (we’ve never done that before). But we are feeling more in sync as a team than we ever have and I’m already starting to feel those human benefits that were such a big part of this choice.

If you want Chase Bliss pedals, we got ‘em.

I hope you do.
